Hard, straight, smooth,
The longed-for shaft, steel-hard
Caresses her pulsing flesh.

A pause, hesitating, exquisitely craving:
Everything awaits this moment.
Everything depends on this penetration.
Everything in that waiting shaft will give her life.
Everything...

A sudden thrust, a moment of pain;
Then the sudden gush, thick and vital,
Piercing her body.
Overwhelming her mind.
She weeps; she's waited so long,
The days oozing by like years,
Praying for this,

And now? Now it comes.
And she is filled.

That's what getting the Covid vaccine feels like.
