You left me all alone.
You checked out,
Ticket punched, you drifted away.

I could've helped.
Shared the load,
My shoulder was your's to cry on.

We fucking needed you!
Left abandoned,
On the end of a swinging rope.

I hate what I've lost.
That being said,
My ear still yearns for your voice.

You broke my heart.
It hurts so bad,
Yet this pain I will forever carry.

I will treasure it.
As a precious stone.
After all, it was what you left me.

I forgive you.
All my hurt, my rage,
I'd trade for one more day.

Rest well, My friend, my King.
I'm sorry.
I still hate you,
But moreso I miss you.

This one hurt me. I know some of the feelings expressed in them poem, having experienced a similar loss. Hugs. Keep your head up, it gets easier.
