Fantastic story, sir.

The one thing that I have always hated about vampire stories was the lack of redemption and the absence of a cure. This story makes that fault stand out like the blazing sun at midday. There needs to be a mechanism to turn vampires back to humans again if like Amber, they don't become evil from the curse.

I realize that James had Hans and Amber under surveillance of his own, but when Hans told Amber about his blood enchantment was he really somewhere that James could hear him recite the words incorrectly and hear it clearly? I guess if it happened outside of the shed, then probably so. I'll have to go back through that scene again. But I'm still curious about James acquiring the Transylvania dirt for his dungeon in such a short period of time. It still seems a little bit far fetched. I can't shake the feeling that there's a continuity error buried inside of there somewhere.

But on a POSITIVE NOTE...I loved the humor that occasionally popped up from time to time. Like the following example:

☆I stared at her fangs as I continued to back away. "Hey! My eyes are up here, buddy."☆

Interesting twist on vampire stories and well constructed. Didn't realise James was suspicious of her all along. You left it a little open with regard to theirvparents' reactions and I would have liked to read how it goes forward but just the right length for a competition story.
