I really thought of this as e realistic scenario. I would have loved this from the mother's point of view

I tried to think of this as a realistic scenario, but the dialogue kept knocking me out of the immersion, with thoughts like... 'that doesn't fit this pair of people at all...'' over and over, from start to finish. Read it out loud, and see if you don't agree, it sounds ridiculous in places.

Enjoyable read. I remember the 'Good Old Days at the Drive In', especially on rainy evenings and on warm summer nights when everyone had their windows down and sounds carried.
