I was about to lambast you for making a huge historical error, but thankfully I checked Wikipedia before posting this. I assumed you were referring to the original USS Lexington (CV-2), which was sunk early in WWII at the Battle of the Coral Sea. I hadn't realized that they named one of the Essex-class (CV-16, apparently) after her later in the war. :P

Wonderful writer. Sometimes I think sister Jen and friend Meagan are able to go with their feelings and desires better than Kyle, but still you keep this story believable and extremely good. Can't stop reading.

Sorry, but I have to disagree with Wargamer this time around. Wargamer has actually been involved with a sibling intimately, and therefore has a skewed point of view that relates directly to their specific experience. I'm not saying anything derogatory in that regard. In fact I'm envious because I never had a sister to sleep with.

But the rest of us who are probably in the majority are loving this story exactly as it is. Please don't change a thing.

This being said, I have a correction to make. As always, I begin with a quote:

Corpus Christi does NOT sit directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Instead it sits on the Bay of Corpus Christi that is fed by the Nueces River. Corpus Christi Bay is also connected into Matagorda Bay. Mustang Island is the barrier island between the bays and the Gulf. Kyhl was actually looking out into the Bay and not the Gulf.

5/5 for keeping Kyhl and Meghan together without breaking up Kyhl and Jen.
