I love your writing - good story, easy to read, nice plot so far. However, you really should edit before submitting as there are quite a few typos or wrong words. And, it is driving me crazy that you keep saying they eat strips of pemmican - that is so wrong. They might eat strips of jerky (dried - or jerked - meat). Pemmican is made of powdered meat (ground up) that is mixed with melted fat and berries or other dried fruit.

That said, keep writing. Even with they typos and the mis-use of pemmican, I'm loving your stories.
